Annual Hearing Protection and Device Fitting Training
Annual hearing-conservation training for workers exposed to hazardous noise and anyone issued hearing protection. Understand how noise damages hearing, exposure limits and audiometric testing, and the strengths and limits of earplugs and earmuffs. Then master correct fitting: roll-down foam insertion, premoulded plugs, earmuff seating, seal verification and the common fitting errors. Includes fitting demonstrations, guided practice, workplace scenarios and a final assessment, with an employer-supervised practical fitting exercise for online delivery.
