Built around the SAR mission cycle, the course covers search-area planning, search patterns, visual and thermal sensors, locating and reporting targets, coordination with incident command, and operational safety in demanding environments, from missing-person searches in forested terrain to floods, fires and structural collapse. Includes simulated missions and a UAS mission-report exercise.
